The programme of the Day of Sociology is largely shaped by the sociological community itself. The call runs in two steps: first, panels are proposed; then, anyone can submit a paper to one of the accepted panels.
Step 1 · Panels
Propose a panel around a sociological topic. Panels can be held in Dutch or in English.
Opens: 1 December 2026
Deadline: 15 January 2027
Step 2 · Papers
Submit an abstract to one of the accepted panels. The list of panels will appear on the Sessions page.
Opens: 25 January 2027
Deadline: 19 March 2027
Submitting a panel proposal

- a short description of the panel (max. 500 words);
- the language of the panel (Dutch or English).
